Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • Halloumi or Cheese sliced180 gram
  • Red Birdseye Chilies
  • Lettuce leaves 80 gram
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Finely grated lemon rind
  • 2 teaspoons Drained baby capers

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a medium-sized frying pan on medium-high heat. Cook the Halloumi slices or cheese slices in batches for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn golden. Then, transfer it to a plate.
  • Heat the rest of the oil in the same pan. Put in the chili and capers. Stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the capers warm up, and the chili turns golden.
  • Then, add the lemon rind and cook for another minute. Stir continuously. Finally, add the lemon juice and let it simmer.
  • Place the halloumi and lettuce on a serving plate. Pour the hot lemon mixture over them. Sprinkle with pepper. Serve right away.
