Priya Dogra is an Indian Keto Coach and Nutritionist. This is her personal story of success, of getting fit and losing weight, by switching to a Ketogenic Lifestyle. The journey has inspired her to share her story with all those looking for inspiration to lose weight and get healthy again.
It was not easy for her to live in any country, neighborhood, locality, or apartment if she was fat and unhealthy. She would get stared upon, snubbed, and made fun of by anybody and everybody.
Before becoming an Indian keto coach, she used to hide behind baggy clothes, fancy stoles, and ethnic shawls. When she used to look in the mirror, her gaze would stop at the neck. She chose to ignore looking at the fat that was staring back at her, neck below. But in life, she realized there were always two choices: either to go on living as she was, making a conscious decision not to step out of her "comfort level," to kill her dreams, and accept all that was going wrong with her as fate, or to kick herself in the backside and tell herself to snap out of this gloomy situation and take charge. More than thirty odd years was a long time to be fat, ugly, and unhealthy. She had been eating since she had attained puberty, she thought. And she was the kind of person who used to proudly say, "I live to eat." There was no chocolate in this world that she had not tasted, and she had devoured every brand of biscuit. The cookie was her best friend when she was down, lonely, or when she wanted to believe that nobody understood why she liked to eat all day. People say food is comforting; she says the wrong food choices are worse than a bad enemy waiting to strike you down.
