Starting my Ketogenic Lifestyle has been life-changing for me. The overall sense of well-being, stable energy, and mental clarity make it all worthwhile. However, what I still struggle with at times is my cravings for desserts. Let’s be honest, we do need something sweet sometimes to satiate those cravings. For me, that sweet something is a delicious coffee cake. While a traditional coffee cake consists of a sugary crumble base, I recreated my Keto Coffee Cake recipe after experimenting a little to align it with my healthy diet.
This delicious Keto cake tastes the same as a conventional coffee cake with the right flavor and texture. Plus, the cinnamon-infused crumble topping adds contrast to the soft, buttery cake. Nonetheless, it’s gluten-free, grain-free, and sugar-free, making it a guilt-free indulgence. The best thing is that it satisfies my sweet tooth cravings while keeping up with ketosis.

- 1/4 cup of coconut flour
- 2 1/4 cups of almond flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup Monk fruit or sweetener of your choice
For the crumb topping—
- 1/4 cup butter, cold
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- ½ cup Monk fruit or sweetener of your choice
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
You need to preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Take a pan, grease it with parchment paper, and keep it aside.
Take a small bowl and add coconut flour, almond flour, salt, and baking powder to mix everything well.
Use a hand mixer to mix the sweetener and butter together. Then, add eggs into the mixture along with vanilla extract and mix until combined properly.
Now, take another small bowl to whisk the crumb topping ingredients well.
Add some of the cake batter to a pre-prepared baking pan. Then, spread the crumble mixture on top. After that, add the rest of the cake batter mixture to cover the crumble layer. Again, top it with the crumble mixture.
Put the coffee cake into the oven for baking for 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
Take out the pan, and let it cool before serving.
